Stone Mountain Picnic Areas
The largest picnic area is the Studdard Picnic Area positioned on the north facet of the mountain to the east of the carving and Memorial Lawn space. This is an enormous picnic space with grills.
The largest use of Broyles Recreation area is the large beach space. Unlike several other Corps recreation areas with designated swimming areas, this one is a mud gap! Much of the sand you could inform was originally there has washed away. The beach nonetheless has plenty of sand and is giant enough to keep up with the over whelming crowd.
